@capnbarfy Indeed. The arcade version has voices in the cutscenes and more colors, but the ride in the whale at the end was just meh... The Genesis ending was EPIC... I get teary eyed whenever I listen to this ending song...

@Jermyn78 I think the first two levels are in the USSR (and the first is in what's now Kazhakstan), but the third one is on a flying fortress somewhere, and the fourth is in South America (and the fifth, on the moon).

This ending is more satisfying than the arcade version.

how come this ending wasn't in the PlayStation version. I was expecting to see this ending but when i didn't see it i was very disappointed.

I would be laughing if all of a sudden in the end when he is flying. A pebble hits his face and he falls into the sun! haha but still great game five stars!

I liked the obvious Ivan Drago reference Strombaya (big muscular fella) mini boss from stage 1, its a shame he never showed up in any of the remakes and sequels

I failed geography thanks to this game. I never knew the USSR never had a jungle in real life!
