A lot of Somalis are naive, we should stop thinking that these criminals are safe guarding Somali water,...what do these pirates do after the "pirate season" is over? they rob people, they are the same criminals who have road blocks in the cities and asking for money! them and those fake religious Al-shabaab scums are what is wrong with Somalia...If the Italian that company twas dumping nuclear waste pays them, they would definitely take the money just like the war lords do!. No one said trying to be a pirate would be easy. This is good though, they're getting bored with it. Either they'll stop, or they'll go get all the proper regalia (eyepatches, big hat, piercings, peg leg, etc.) and make pirates worth admiring again!

These pirates have no excuse, what they do is put innocent people's lives in danger and they know see that it's a battle they are loosing. What are you going to do when no ships pass through to your country? even ships that send their country what they need? They are feeling the pressure in different areas, they deserve no mercy, there's thousands of people in their country who find other ways to live. There's plenty of crippled men and woman, they are able to live, why cant these cowards live?
