Dr. Michael Kennedy gives a brief demostration of muscle testing on a patient with shoulder pain. After a chiropractic adjustment to the patient's neck, the shoulder muscles strengthen, helping him with his pain. Check out www.chanhassenhealthandwellnesscenter.com for more information. If you are looking for a Chiropractor, you can visit the Chanhassen Health and Wellness Center in Chanhassen Minnesota.

  • Couldn't it just be because he's right handed?

  • No, he is actually left handed. The Vertebrae in his neck are not moving correctly putting pressure on the nerves from his neck. Chiropractors call this a subluxation. A Subluxation causes inflammation in the body that interferes with the nerve signal going to the muscles, thus causing the muscles to test weak. When the vertebrae are moving correctly, inflammation is reduced allowing the muscles to get the full signal from the nerves coming from the neck causing the muscles to test strong.

  • thank you

  • @braedencowbrough Ah, Quackwatch - the same site that vilifies Dr. Royal Lee simply because the government tried to shut him down for taking money out of their pocket - as we all know, when the government wants to prove someone is in the wrong, they burn all of their research. Logic doesn't at all say "keep it to show people that it was wrong" at all - logic says "destroy it because its scary." oh wait. Again.

  • @csquaredremixz Well I apologize I did not seeing as 500 characters limits my ability to express all pertinent information for a discussion. One place to look into Injury from Chiropractic is quackwatch org There is an article by Stephen Barrett MD that discusses this. He uses reputable sources and citations so I do feel it is a good article to add light on to chiropractic injury. If you want any further information feel free to inbox me. I will always back up my claims with reputable sources.

  • @braedencowbrough I like how you support these claims with facts and figures... oh wait.

  • @csquaredremixz Dude no. no. no. I am telling you right now if this was primary care for everyone we would have a surplus of sick people through infections, diseases, cancer, and all manner of disease. Not to mention more incidence of people winding up hospitalized because of fucking chiropractors.

  • @wonder431 I am agreeing with this. The quick jerks, whatever you call them, that you use to manipulate his cervical vertebrate is dangerous, and if done in correctly could cause people to wind up in a wheel chair. If MD didn't have to deal with DCs or other shit like natrupathic, acupuncture, homeopathy, immunization histeria, and all that other shit THEN the healthcare system would be good.

  • @csquaredremixz Thank you, someone finally says it. if MDs and DCs would work together it would be an amazing healthcare system.

  • As you can see he's physically fit and works out a lot. Hahah yeah right. Motherfucker looks like a bird in mating season. Anyone can puff their shit out. Man this is some good comedy.

  • @drmichaelkennedy Inflammation does not occur unless there is a physiological issue/stress and tends to cause pain. It doesn't happen just because you are left handed . This unlocking of the muscle (or what the speaker describes as weak) can be the case with either arm, regardless of whether you are right handed or left handed.

  • This is outright garbage. First, you tested the biceps by having the guy put his arm out straight and pushing down on his hand. Then you limited your exam to three muscles. The only good thing about this video is your subject's acting job. Though, in all seriousness, he's an idiot for letting you manipulate his C-spine.

  • @butagaris lol, very true
