Portland's Winter Storm

Portland got hit with the worst storm in ten years, the news said. We were snowed in, freeways were shut down, people stranded, water mains broke. Still, our city is recovering.


Gotta LOVE Mother Nature.

about the only time I remember it that kind of deep in S. Wales UK was either 1981 or 1982, only had light snow since then.

my parents did tell me that we had it worse in the late 70's, but a bit too young to remember too much about it, only remember the last, as it was the worst to remember.
