The Magic Tree on Cahuenga Peak

The Campaign to Save Cahuenga Peak has been successful! Today we found out that it has been saved. Thanks to Hugh Hefner, The Getty, Tiffany & Co. Foundation and thousands that donated worldwide.

The Trust for Public Land and its partners worked hard to protect as public open space the 138 acres behind and to the left of the Hollywood Sign. It will now be incorporated into Griffith Park and the wildlife corridor will be preserved connecting it with the Santa Monica mountains.
