Diabetics, once diagnosed and stabilized, usually only need their insulin doses adjusted infrequently. Samson, however, is different, he responds well to new doses, then gets hungry and thirsty again. He was started on once daily insulin but started getting hungry at night to the point that he was opening steel dustbins by himself.

  • I work at a vet clinic and our hospital cat, Sammy, just got diagnosed with acromegaly. This reminds me of him. He's ALWAYS hungry and getting into the trash can.
