Here's a nice little plugin for Arpeggio performances using VST Instruments in Studio One. Very simple and easy to use.

  • Wow - over 20 seconds to load a preset from a preset from a vst, Thats bad!

  • @TheFesta01 This is an old video and that 20second load time has been fixed for some time now so that issue is no longer there.

  • I'm kind of new to studio one. I have Presence but I have no presets. Not one instrument is on there. Do you have to purchase presets separately? Most programs come with them already installed. Im a little confused because no Presonus tutorial covers this question.

  • @benthemiester Well, if you have no presets, then you are either using the demo or you're using one of the many cracked versions that are out there. The only way to get the presets is to buy Studio One from either a store near you or online. If you did not pay, you get no presets.

  • @themuzic I got S1 from Presonus. It was bought and sent through the mail. I have an activation code and licence key. My hardware came bundled with Cubase le 4 but the techs at Presonus said I qualified to get Studio one artist at a discount wich I did, because I had just bought the Fire box within a certain period. I just read that it should already have presets installed, but mine doesn't. If you feel Im bugging you then my apologies, but please dont call me a thief. I am not.

  • @benthemiester Oh Dude! You're not bugging me an I surely didn't mean to call you a thief. It just that what you described can mean that in certain circumstances. Ok, here's the deal then, if you have the DVDs that came with Studio One, your sound sets are on disk 2. You need to drag those into a folder on your hard drive called Sound Sets. Then restart Studio One and it should find them. Now if that doesn't work, we should hook up be email or phone so I can walk you through it. Let me know.

  • I still dont understand how I would use Izotope stutter for this, Its an Fx so it wont load as an intrument track. The way used it in fl studio and cubase was to just open a single midi channel and plug it though that.

  • @Diourault

It sounds like you're not monitoring BOTH tracks (monitor icons blue) That's the only way to get everything audible.
