Durbin Admits Premiums Will Go Up If Health Care Bill Is Passed

Speaking on the Senate floor, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) says, "Anyone who would stand before you and say well, if you pass health care reform, next year's health care premiums are going down, I don't think is telling the truth. I think it is likely they would go up, but what we're trying to do is slow the rate of increase."

When Obama says it lower premiums he means for the 7% who qualify for subsidized plan. When Obama says you won't loose the coverage you have he means only if you have a full medical the is with in the standards set by the commission in the bill. Obama say this will reduce the deficit! OMG there isn't anyone who believes that. The cost est are 6 years of spending for ten years of taxing. Remember medicare cost were 10 time what they estimated. Medicaid was 5 times the first 3 years.

Lets just suppose that it does pass. 34 Attorney Generals in as many states are already preparing to immediatey challenge the constitutionality of the mandate forcing all Americans to buy health insurance in lieu of jail time.

When the Supreme Court strikes down this mandate [and they will] as being unconstitutional, what then?

The major sorce of the funding to pay for it all will suddenly vanish and everyone's premiums will skyrocket thru the roof.
