  • Is it bad for the lego motor to be completely stalled like that?

  • It's not good for motors, but I have to do it because I must test if system works like it should

  • um what kind of suspension is that

  • Obviously this system works great for his situation so whats the problem? Great you can make better stuff, so what?

  • Corotor, I suspect that you haven't tried to build anything TECHNIC creations in this scale. Good and strong TECHNIC mechanics need a lot of space and althought I don't think this particular creation is as effective as it could be, I still find it inspiring.

If you think you can create better design, sweet, but if we can't see the design, well, we can't really believe in you.

And one more final thing: I build real things too but I just build them out of LEGO bricks ;)

  • im sorry i dont have a video camera, ill show you a picture of an automatic 2 speed gearbox i made. since thats like the only thing i ever took pictures of, and i dont build lego anymore, i build REAL things, im currently using dentis drilng rotors to build i miniature turbine ;)

    lol

  • Read this again.

"The first thign - it's small enough to fit 1:22 scale

The second thing - simplicity means reliability

And thats the only two thing I need."

May be there are 1000 ways to make it better and smaler, but I dont nedd them here. I don't believe words like that, I believe only facts. "I can doo better and 3 times smaller" - smells like an argument of a schoolboy.

  • there are far better ways to achieve a perfectly working and reliable suspension 3 times smaller than that. im not angry, it just pisses me off that people post vids as if they were "suspension" "gearboxes" and stuff that cant really be called that way. lack of ingeniuty (does that word even exist? lol) anyways, lack of a good idea

  • Your theory souns good, but only for very light vehicle, for a 1.2kg truck it works a little diffrent, I think you should know about this elementary thing.

The first thign - it's small enough to fit 1:22

The second thing - simplicity means reliability

And thats the only two thing I need.

Btw, enjoy the BS gallery and don't be so angry ;)

  • sorry to burst your bubble, its obvious you dont know about mechanics, its a simple articulated "suspension" no real hard work behind it and the tough part is it doesnt corner well, and one of the wheels loses traction under heavy acceleration. its a very precarious system
