Jerry Garcia was so much more than a musician. It can be argued that no one single person in the musical world was as loved as much as him. Not Elvis, not Lennon or McCartney, not Jagger or Richards, Beethoven, Mozart.....no one.

the thing about Jerry was- he never wanted to be anyones idol. He was not comfortable with that. But the hippies all made him their guru of some kind. He didnt want that.Its the truth. Read people.
