You are right. However, if an illegal undergoes an emergency operation in a local hospital totaling $1 mil. The hospital tries to get reimburse by the federal gov. Now under this statement; they won;t pay. So who is going to absorb this payment? The hospital will bill the state...resulting in higher taxes for all of us.  Another words, fed don't pay, state will have to pick up the tab,and state is going to charge us in taxes to balance the budget. This is the 2nd half of the story.

Section 246 of HR 3200 (No Federal Payment for Undocumented Aliens) specifically says: "Nothing in this subtitle allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."
