About a week after SgtMaj Mackey was blown up I shot the guys responsible for planting the IED that blew him up. Huey door guns from HMLA 367 Scarface, they were on a motorcycle about a mile north of OP Huskers headed back into Marjeh dumped about 800 rounds from my minigun into them while they were running in panic in the canal. If you were there you know what im talking about. Semper Fi!

I remember Sgt Maj Mackey when he was Sgt in MCT in 1993! He was one Marine who I always remembered as a real leader. He stood head high among an already great corps! Semper Fi Sgt Maj!

God Bless you Sgt Maj Mackey! I noticed in the video that it was raining. LOL every where I followed that man in Charlie 1/6 it rained. This man was like a big brother to me.
