  • It is called anticomedy.

    It is intentional and obviously flew over your head.

  • They set up a joke, and then use an unfunny punchline. The surprise factor from the unexpected delivery of the jokes is where the humor comes from. A comic may purposely tell very bad jokes and sound nervous. A local radio station where I live sometimes hosts an 'illiterate comedian'. Hes clearly reads stupid jokes, and he reads them wrong, pronouncing words wrong and stumbling over words. It's hilarious. Other examples are comics constantly clearing their throat or reusing jokes too much.
