What a terrible casting! What a sorry excuse for a singer!

My ears hurt when listening as Eva Marton's voice cracks in the beginning of just about every note, especially the high ones. Same with Marton in Salome. OK filming.

Eine überzeugende Inszinierung von Harry Kupfer! Eva Marton einfach genial. Cheryl Studer sehr überzeugend (Drama Hysterica..."Kinder will ich haben". Brigitte Fassbaender, die kann. Sie hat´s gelernt!!! Bühne, Kostüme überzeugend. Schade, dass das Zögling M.H. Oper Chemnitz, dies so nicht hin bekommen hat!!!!

That's a fantastic performance. I'm seeing this opera tonight for the first time. I'm familiar with Salome but not Elektra. Can't wait to see it live.
