Beyond Capital is a very hard read. Istvan's more recent "the Challenge and Burden of Historical Time" is more accessible.

Mészáros is cool but it's better to read Beyond Capital and Socialism and Barbarism. His is too magnificent to say the meaning of his ideas in simple lecture.
