14:00 "What kind of impact do you think your campaign for the Decriminalization of Marijuana will have?" "A big impact...the DA won't give me credit but recently announced trying to change many crimes to be petty crimes and redirect them to the municipal courts....." this would be a valuable first step for the community Jerry loves and make his campaign worthwhile and a true social contribution. Molly Cheshire invites Jane Goldberg to RabbitHoleCentrral for a call in from Jerry Jacobs who is running for Mayor in New Orleans as one of 12 candidates. However after declining to come up with $100,000.00 could no longer debate the other candidates some of whom spent from a quarter of a million dollars to 2 million on their campaign whereas Jerry only allocated $2,500.00 from his personal funds. Still he is getting a lot of attention as one of his planks, the decriminalization of marijuana and clear methods to turn the economy around, not just in New Orleans but the whole country and his eloquence in expressing his position lifted him from being considered laughable to being prevented from embarrassing the other candidates in debates as no one else had plan to achieve any of their objectives (thus the $100,000.00 request). Fun discussion with Dr. Jane G. Goldberg also from New Orleans (everyone knows each other) although they haven't seen each other for forty years since Jane's study and love of psychoanalysis took Jane to NYC where today she has her practice and is the owner of La Casa Day Spa (41 E 20th Street) one block away from Paula Gloria's place in Gramercy Park (RabbitHoleCentral where this is shot)!

  • hey ... i was wondering how you were able to get in contact with Jerry Jacobs. I'm in charge of the NORML chapter at Tulane university and was hoping to get in touch with him and talk ..

  • 22:00 Molly asks about the money for Katrina that never reached New Orleans and all the candidates all say that they will get it back but none say how....my question is how does Jerry Jacobs think that Decriminalizing Marijuana will do it?
