The White-Throated Sparrow and the White-crowned Sparrow share nearly identical crowns. The yellow in front and the white throat are the identifying marks.
I was able to capture this White-Throated Sparrow doing what other birds also do which is to use both feet at the same time to move debris while searching for food. They are quick but this little native sparrow does it several times for the camera.
