If you've seen my other video of this car you will know I bought it after it had been stored in a barn for over 40 years. I have since rebuilt the front brakes and needed to turn it around in the garage to get better access to the rear brakes to rebuild them too. Unfortunately the starting of the engine is missed off the clip, but as I've now rebuilt the fuel pump and put new fuel in the tank, starting up is pretty easy - pull out the choke, turn on the ignition and press the starter. There's still no coolant in the engine, hence why I turned off the engine before stopping. This is the first time I've attempted to drive it at all, so a big moment for me. Hope you enjoy it, feel free to comment if you like.

  • nice 2 see it moving on her power wot u going 2 do wiv her when u 100/ done

  • It's really a long term project, I saw it and thought it could be the one I keep for ever, after all there are only a handful left and while it's not worth a lot of money, it'll be fun to drive round in years to come. Hopefully when my son gets a bit older he'll feel the same...

  • @lovedoc55 i'm no legal expert on this so i'm just guessing and advise you to seek legal advice concerning the matter, but if you apply to the dvla for a registration document in your name they will contact whoever is still registered as owning it and tell them someone has applied,if they don't get in touch with dvla within two weeks a new registration cert will be sent to you in your name,it's yours!like i say seek legal advice though,or you could restore it and the owner can claim it,i think?

  • @Y0B0YCHRIS you could always die out of the way!it wouldn't belong to anyone then according to the registration certificate!

  • @lovedoc55 no it is not. There is ALWAWS an owner. You cannot disown a piece of property
