Our Shiba Inu MoMo is 12 weeks in this video. She went to her puppy social over the weekend and met her arch nemesis - a German Shepherd puppy that likes to dominate her.

  • Sorry but i cant tell whether this is fighting or playing??? Tt

  • @seequeify This is playing. Their tails are up and there are lots of invitations to play (play bowing).

  • Yup, we still have Momo. She's 1 year, 8 months old. We love her dearly.

  • SO CUTE I SHALL DIE FORM THE CUTENESS!!!

  • Omg did you see those boss Shiba dodges? DODGE DODGE TWIRL DODGE

Shibas are known to also hunt bears :D

  • Play fighting is important. They have to learn to take social cues and know when they are getting to ruff.

  • @johmedis :O A wild Troll appears!

  • @bittieoh95 We'll see what you think when a gang of German Shepherds steal your DVD player

  • lol, she goes at the other dog like, Stay out of this! :) My husband and i have Shiba Inu as well, but hes black and tan. Funny thing about it is, everyone who saw him said he looks like a german shepherd. of course we look at him and say he looks nothing like a shepherd. you can see in this video they are very very different. i would think the curly tail would be a dead give away at the LEAST, but ppl still say he looks like one. lol

  • @johmedis It all depends on how they're raised. This is obviously harmless. German shepherds are only dangerous if you train them to be and it most cases, it's just for protective purposes. And no, the don't travel in "gangs" (packs).

  • That shepherd has a perfect regulation of the aggression level. There is no danger. He is just as aggressive as nesessary to avoid being dominated. He perfectly stops when he recognices signs of giving up (presence of throat). That´s on essence of a these dogs games (btw. the "poor little shiba" is also not a living-room-dog but a good fighter).

  • German Shepherds are dangerous. They are known to attack kids, and roam in gangs.
