I thought I heard this in an elevator once?? Or was it a dentist office?? (16 rpm)

Capitol's "Custom" division also stamped out several of these discs over the years, 'drh', but mostly it was RCA Custom by the mid-'60s....

No, this isn't "Cheek To Cheek", but it sounds VERY close....
-
This tune is likely the Irving Berlin standard "Cheek to Cheek", first sung by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in the movie "Top Hat" way back in 1935...

I heard someone say these records didn't have anywhere near the fidelity as standard LP's, and I could understand why--given the fact that they're turning at 16. But they sound very clear when played back through this stereo.
The audio fidelity is as good as a 33-1/3 LP on these in my opinion. I have a very early BM record, and the quality is not so good. By the very early 60's the fidelity was excellent on most of these records. The records were produced by RCA or Decca.
