  • Say I wanted to work on my lower abs and glutes, would you suggest the second form of the the get up?

  • @Jesman912 Speed certainly has its place, especially with regards to combat conditioning. I'd say never sacrifice form in favour of speed, but good form with speed could certainly be advantageous over good form done slwoly.

  • do you feel that speed is a factor when performing these workouts? I know that maintaining balance of the kettlebell is the most important thing, but if one can properly keep the balance, would performing these at a faster rate produce a better result?

  • @ajerrettenns From my experience with these two variations. #2 is slightly easier. Especially if you find it difficult to bring your leg under as in variation #1. Both will give you a great workout though!

    What's the difference between variation 2 and variation 1? Is there any reason to prefer one over the other?
