@2cpus4me do you really get better picture quality by processing as HD? The ZS1 can only produce VGA video to begin with which is 480p. That is the highest resolution this camera can put out.
@mahadragon Well, it depends. The ZS1 video as well as video from the Canon S2, S3, S5 are very high quality and respond well to being stretched to HD. Of course the software has to interpolate the missing pixels, but I think converting it to HD and then uploading is better then uploading standard VGA and simply viewing that full screen. I use PowerDirector 8 to upscale video since it can apply some enhancements, sharpening, lighting fixes, and stabilization if necessary.
Very good picture quality. Im trying to decide between the TZ6 and the TZ7. Ive had a go at both and really like the sound on the TZ7 but TZ6 still seems good. Picture quality wise the TZ6 looks great from your video. Also should be quicker to edit as its not HD.
Thanks for the upload it may have just made me decide to go with the TZ6
Yea, the video is better than some HD stuff I've seen out there. Certainly a fine camera... wish it had the bigger screen the TZ7 has and the dedicated video button, but that adds a lot to the cost.
woh how can u record in normal and then edit in HD??

You record in 840x480. Load it into a video editor such as PowerDirector 8, then you can edit, upscale, and produce to HD.
