Rooftop Hades - "Saturday Night Garden"

Okay this time it's not a perfect run through the stage. You know, it's one of those stages that just like to mess with you and when you do good on one part you suck on another and then another run, it's vice versa and it gets annoying. Well mainly just because there is no practice in this game. DX

The game gets really tricky here seeing how it's the last stage and the boss can really kick some arse if you don't know what you are doing.

Being sick sorta made doing this hard and my computer wasn't cooperating sorta though it doesn't exactly show. More notes in the annotations.

I might upload a better run through the stage later on...

Also: The boss music is hella catchy... Hooray for ZUN for composing the theme! xD

Using the same engine as Mountain of Faith, Uwabami Breakers follows Isami Asama as she goes out to various bars where serious drinkers gathered. They say if you spent the night drinking 'til dawn there, you would see "a mysterious world of curtain fire"...

Uwabami Breakers is a free game released by 呑んべぇ会 (The Drinking Party) and it's available for download off the website. Short game though with only 3 stages.

Isami has three attacks which are her normal firing attack, her charge attack and her bomb. Her normal fire gets stronger as her alcohol consumption meter goes up. To make it go up, just kill alcoholic beverages that appear on the screen to attack you.

You can hold down the shoot button to perform a charge attack that'll send out chopsticks to circle Isami. You can release the charge once it's done charging to drop chopsticks that will shortly be fired towards the nearest enemy. This also happens if you hold onto the charge for too long.

Isami's bomb attack fires a stream of well... is that puke? Well either way it's a devastating attack used to save yourself. Each use with reduce your max consumption bar by 0.1L and your attack power will drop significantly.

Each stage progresses as you kill the enemies. Essentially, the faster you kill the enemies, the faster you go through the stage. Speed run, anyone? :3

You have no lives in this game. Instead, when you get hit, the time meter on the left will progress a little bit more towards closing time. Once the timer hits Lock Down Time, getting hit will then result in a Game Over.

It's a somewhat old but fun game. Download it and play it if you didn't already. And hey... you get to listen to some music by ZUN. Well he only composed the final boss's theme... DX

Actually this guy uses beer as well. The card's name actually says "two pitchers of beer" in it, so it's spraying suds instead of bubbly, but I got it wrong initially too.

Also, that first loading screen is epic LOL :D

I love how the bosses have alcohol-based spellcards. Last one had a beer spellcard, this one a champagne spellcard... that's just awesome.
