The thing I always wonder though is, are the dryers, which use electricity most often generated by burning fossil fuels, really more eco-friendly?

@slupine Great question - thanks for asking! We did a very complete analysis of this, both on cost and on carbon footprint. The hand dryers came out way ahead of paper towels!
