That sure looks good JB.... I bet you Mom has awesome recipes!!!
HEY BOY!! U seem like a good ole boy i could cook and drink wit! Wanted to give u a tip on your smothered round steak. Try seasoning ur meat with different spices (salt, cayenne, garlic, etc...) in a bowl or like I do in the sink! Add a lil mustard and worchesteshire sauce! The mustard will help the seasoning stick to the meat when ur browning and add good flavor! Also the longer a gravy cooks, the thicker it gets!!!!!!! Good Job from a registered COONASS!!!

@cajuncoonass1 I know & have used other spices once in this dish. My wife & kids didn't like the change in flavor. (It wasn't the way her mom did it) As you know cajun cooking is all a matter of personal taste, everyone down here has their own favorite way of cooking a meal

@007bondjb Will it get tough are lose flavor if its cooked too long?? I guess you need to keep it watered down? Thanks JB

@aaadream NO Boy! The longer it cooks the MORE tender it gets, The gravy REDUCES & intensifies. If cooked too long it will cook to pieces, Good for sammys, Yummm
