Can we please end this foolish discussion about prophets and Mormons? There's only one way to Heaven. Jesus said:"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Joseph Smith can't, and won't save you. Salvation belongs to our Lord, and our Lord alone. It is not my intention to offend anyone, but let's stick to what Jesus said about this. I hope to see you all in Heaven.

Pure, unadulterated, absolute hypocrisy on the part of GMA. These people had no time for Larry Norman other than to criticize, scandalize, ostracize and shun him. "Christian" music is now no more Christian than the major labels are - all about making a buck. They couldn't have cared less about Larry when he was alive and so in need. I look forward to seeing Larry again; he never made any bones about being anything more than a human sinner that was the recipient of God's grace and Jesus' love.

My good works speak for themselves according to the tenants of the One True Prophet, Joseph Smith, exactly as He foretold.

Clearly you're misinterpreting Christ's selfless act, and whatever it is you're talking about is debatable.

You're utter misinterpretation of scripture is what differentiates the one true religion of Mormonism with the wayward faith of Christianity and why our religions shall be forever be at odds with eachother on the most fundamental of levels.

@Mormonites Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by GRACE are you saved through FAITH and that not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God NOT of works lest any man should boast. " If you can good works yourself to heaven then Christ's death was for nothing. God required a perfect sacrifice and only Jesus, the God-man could make the sacrifice.

@brinkwerks: Sarah divorced Randy because the guy had some girlfriends on the side. She pleaded Randy to stay with her and stop this, but he just moved on. That's why they divorced, not because Larry was involved in any way. You can read letters between Sarah and Randy about the issue (original scans from Larry's archives) on failedangle.

@starshine428: A woman from Australia claims that her son is Larry's. In the past Larry has asked her 3 times to engage in a DNA test, which she refused. Larry did say something about this in the Blue Book.

I too, knew Larry, but not as well as you. He played for a music concert ministry I was involved with in 1976 in Reading Pa, part of the Potter's House Coffeehouse MInistry. I remember those days vividly. Larry, the Rez band, Petra,(before they were stars) Randy Stonehill, Randy Matthews, Barry, Pau, Keith Green, Phil, and all the other brave souls who took the insults and mean spirited comments from the so-called Christian establishment.

At least they did a tribute for Larry. And yes, Christian music is all about money to the companies that produce and turn out the music. Larry was not that way at all.
