i have no doubt that iran WANTS israel to be wiped off the map and thats cuz in irans eyes that land is home to palestinians and not immigrants. but never threatened to an attack cuz knows it will see a massive retaliation from the west. about the name iran or persia, iran has always been called iran by iranians themselves, and persia was only part of iran historically and persians are only a group of iranians. the west mistakenly called iran persia.
