Your All I Have Left, And You Hate Me One-Shot part 7

"No." the short, simple word was all I needed to hear escaping his mouth. I stood up and began making my way back to the door. I couldn't trust myself to stand my ground around him just yet - especially when he was making no sene. I reached my hand out for the door handle when another seized mine gently, stopping any interaction i was about to make. I looked up at him wordlessly, clearly confused.
"Selena, you can't just walk away from me. Not this time..." his words came out as a soft whisper. His eyes roamed through mine without seeming to realise how much of my attention was on our two hands being held together.
"Nick, just let me go please?" my voice came out sounding so hopeless, obviously not reaching the bold and definate notes that were meant to reassure myself as much as him. I felt my heart ache more as his eyes rounded at the pain my body was revealing to him. His grip on me didn't grow stronger as I was expecting, instead he used the strength he had to pull me closer to him. His eyes never left mine as his body carefully molded itself against mine. His face slowly started bringing itself towards mine. I suddenly felt my body become weightless as his eyelids closed. My eyes shot down to his lips as they drew themselves towards mine. I shut my eyes, trying to get control of myself as his lips carefully came into contact with mine. I sighed into his lips, aware that my actions were now out of control. I kissed back while I felt my arms slithering around his neck and his grab hold of my waist. I braced myself, catching my balance as he pulled away slowly. He kept his head close as his eyes opened and began to wander through mine again.
"Selena, just give into this please? You've proved your point; I'm nothing without you with me!" I moved my eyes back down to his lips; the same lips that had been exploring mine just moments before.
"That wasn't exactly the point I meant to prove; but I'll take it." I waited as the sides of his mouth twitched up in a smile before pulling them closer to mine again. I ran my hands through the curls as his arms pulled our bodies close together. I had always imagined this moment happening... but now that it was, it didn't feel real. I felt as though it was missing something. I pulled back slightly, detaching our lips as I looked up at him.
"I still have to stay here, you know that right?" the smile playing on his lips vanished as his eyes burned into mine.
"But... I came all the way here just for you. I thought..." his voice trailed off with a harsh mix of regret and disappointment.
"Nick, I'm stuck here until I'm thrown into another home; you know how it goes! You really think I have the money to rent an apartment by myself?!" I worked hard to keep my mind from being distracted by the perfect formation of his features as he stared at me confused.
"But, Sel... You can't leave me again!" his voice pulled my brain back to the moment at hand.
"Nick, I'm not that far away!" his face seemed to drag itself further away from happiness with every second that passed between them.
"I've spent the last few months hating myself for what I did to my best friend, I've finally found you and your telling me that your not gonna come with me?" his voice came out a dangerous whisper, his arms clutched tighter to my back.
"Nick, I've got nowhere else to go!" I waited as he seemed to digest this information. I began pulling my hands from behind his head when his hands let go of my lower back and held my hands. His eyes now full of excitement and adventure.
"Sel, come stay with me!" I stared at him in disbelief.
