Great patch! but edge got it a bit more sharp sounding which on axe fx it sounds more round.
-
This is the most dead-on tone I have heard with the streets intro. Incredible!!

Great effort in covering U2 sounds and sharing it to everybody. I know how hard it is for you to tweak each delay, color, eq, etc. of each song that you make. People like you make this world a better place. You have such GREAT TONE! Thanks for sharing the patches! Keep on going mate!

@flyhi94: It's a 2003 Custom Shop Strat (1960s version) with Kinman Woodstock pickups.

I think Edge use more repeats than you in this tutorial

@CharlyHH77 :
Yes, on the BBC video there are many more. But I've had others argue it's only one or two repeats. I prefer more than less, but you are playing on top of the delay for the main riff and it's difficult to hear exactly how many are there. Two main repeats sounds very similar to 5 or 6 repeats. Given that you are playing 8th notes, there is no way you are going to hear the 6th repeat from a previous note. Each repeat decreases exponentially in volume.

Why can't you write your own music?

Good question. Always thought I didn't have the talent for it, but as I learn more from doing these tutorials, I am starting to come up with some ideas. Someday I will try. Thank you.
