The President looks back to the bipartisan Patients Bill of Rights, a bill that was defeated in Congress at the hands of special interests and their supporters, and notes that health insurance reform covers the same ground and much more in terms of giving the consumers the upper hand over their insurance companies. He calls on the Senate to allow an up-or-down vote, and for those opposing reform to stop using parliamentary maneuvers to drag it out. December 19, 2009. (Public Domain)

  • And you did NOTHING about it!

  • And your party took millions from this lobby!

  • BRAND NEW!!! Swine Flu prevention song on youtube, go to maleak ali good hygiene and show support....

  • Did you say " deliver on a promise " !?

  • 20 minutes Mr President ! .. answer the questions !

  • HEY Mr PresiDENT! Have YOU read the bill???

It's not health Care, it's health Scare!

I, for one do NOT want the Federal Government having access to my bank account to take funds out for my health care...

I can pay my own bills, thank you very much. All you have to do is just SEND it to me...

You already have your damn hand in my wallet every time I turn around!

  • "The notion that federal experts can plan to ensure the peoples welfare is a ridiculous projection of childish fantasies — a mothers boy economic program with a kind maternal government taking care of everybody out of an inexhaustible income drawn from mysterious sources."

    Isabel Paterson

    Mmm mmm mmm.

That's our Democrats! A party not "For the Children," but OF children -- whiny, needy momma's boys living in a fantasy world of their own making, and forcing the rest of us to live in it.

  • You choose to believe every lie that fascist tool utters, and I'm the fool?

I'm not selling anything, pal, unlike your fascist manchild up there, shilling Pelosi's wares day after day after day after day. The bill title alone is as Orwellian as The Patriot Act (which he has yet to dismantle).

Change = LOTS More of the Same banksta & megacorp bailouts, perpetual wars, corporatism, borrowing, spending, printing, big govt, assaults on our (actual) Constitutional rights, crisis-mongering, etc.

  • Ruinous, I don't think you want to use the term "preciously", sence you are trying to insult me. However, understanding your post in it's context, I get it. Here's a little something you should realize.

No GREAT MAN can OBTAIN GREATNESS WITHOUT THE COMMONMAN, AND NO MAN CAN REMAIN GREAT WITHOUT THE COMMONMAN. JMO.

    NUT JOB.

  • @commonman80 Your attempt at talking down to me fails due to the fact your statements preciously have shown your lack of common sense, commonman. Just keep your shit to yourself because a commonman hasn't accomplished anything and your statements are irrelevant to any correct solution.
