Ankeny Dog Park Open House, June 18, 2011

Metro area dog lovers and their furry friends were invited to an Open House at the Ankeny Dog Park on Saturday, June 18, 2011. The free event gave the public an opportunity to see what the Ankeny Dog Park is all about!

Pawsitively Pampered offered $10 nail trims with proceeds benefiting the Dog Park and Brown Dog Bakery was on hand to provide complimentary dog treats.

Representatives from the Dog Park, Canine Craze Performance Center and Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital were there to answer health, behavior and training questions. Information about City pet licenses, Dog Park passes, rules, tips and canine behavior was also be available.
