Old clock movement. With vibrating hammer and wind up key. This is very steampunk style assemblage of gears, cogs, pinions, and brass. I think that it would be great for attaching to goggles or a part of a costume. I like this assemblage because it's real wind up power moving parts and goes so well with the steampunk art movement.

  • Is that a time machine?

  • I recieved a wind-up alarm clock a couple of years back. Foolishly pulled it apart for parts. Bad turn with the foot and bent cogs... I heard this clock came from IKEA (intestinal fun time land). Went all excited to get a new clock.

Alas.. QUARTZ QUARTZ QUARTZ, it's happening everywhere now =(

Just a story... Looks like a good solid movement on this one though!

  • @energybroadcast Try reading the description under the video!!! Lmao

I love mechanical bits that work in harmony like that... Call it Kinetic art if you will. You could make a steampunk detonator for a bomb! :o)

  • @energybroadcast Yeah, you can find something similar by disassembling an old alarm clock. I would go with something smaller personally...
