Mini Cooper R53 Engine Noise

2002 Pre-Jan'02 R53, 78k miles.

Two noises coming from my engine.. a whine that you can hear at low RPM's, even in reverse, and when 20+mph, there's a faint metal-ish whistle sound.

Does anyone have a clue what I would need to fix?! I have a copy of the Bentley Manual if anyone can reference a page to me or something.

I had to replace the tensioner pulley, it was totally worn.

Stylewise. I have the same exact sound. Did you ever figure out what the issue was. I have a feeling it the supercharger. Let me know what you discovered.

Ones the bearing in your supercharger, the other is the wheel bearing
