Not really sure Adam would've challenged his grandfathers on track performance. I would liken him to being along the talent lines of Jimmie Johnson. Only with a HUGE personality. He was a genuine good guy. And one hell of a natural driver.

thats sad denny hamlin became my favorite driver in natonwide the day ricky hendrick was killed, cause he was my favorite racer, r.i.p. ricky and adam, you know if you think about it its weird how you can see a picture and think that is what they look like in heaven but is it?

It is hard to say what these boys would have done but we could all figure Adam doing it with a smile on his face. And with class like the Pettys before him.

Not talking bad about Adam at all, but I'm not sure if he would have won his races with Petty Enterprises. Maybe if he would have lived, they would have invested more in better equipment...but I always thought somebody big would pick him up after a few years. God Bless You Adam

Adam would have been today's Richard Petty. He would have given Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson and the rest of the elite group a run for their money. He was destined to be as great, if not greater than his grandfather, Richard "The King" Petty.

THEY where Ricky Hendrick and Adam Petty. Both with promising futures died VERY young. Ricky in a helicopter crash that claimed 11 other people and Adam in a wreck during practice at Loudon.
RIP boys.

yea hendrick has had the 25/5 cars for a while now........i've lost two ppl from a car accident one was hit by a drunk driver and then the other hit a light pole b/c he was drunk..............so this song always hits me hard when i listen to it
