@Hot5six4231 Its also economically unsustainable. Even now, the IMF give the UK and all UN countries with universal health care, a lot of help in paying for it. The IMF has a joint account with the US treasury, source of most of its money. US money is the only reason your taxes aren't twice as high trying to pay for universal health care. Even after all that help it is still an unsustainable structure. Ever since the 50's the GBP (once 5 dollars) has inflated 3 times faster than the USD.

I'm from the UK and the health care over here, its government run, its free for uk citizens, drugs dont cost $1000's, they wont refuse pregnant women if they dont have insurance, they wont put you in debt over a broken leg or anything. Sure you guys may have the better doctors, that dont mean jack shit if your gonna put life struggling debt on people.

It was my favorite TV show. I still adore it. Richard Eden, Yvette Nipar, Blu Mankuma and Andrea Roth became my heroes after this series.
I miss that beautiful tv show and old good 90s!

@AlternateArtisan They end up being more efficient than government run health insurance and they still make a profit. On top of that, giving the government control of how your health care is run is granting it too much power.
