the intercooler is under the supercharger and cools the air after it has entered the supercharger and before it enters the cylinder. after it is compressed by the supercharger it needs to be cooled due to heat soak

@chriskcon82 since the supercharger and some of the intake is on the outside why didnt you go ram air? you would have saved the money from having a intercooler and what not

@chriskcon82 good work...pretty tall engine for a stang tho.... look cooler with a couple of turbos popping out rather then s/c imo..... i believe alot of work went into this car, v6 cars wernt very equipped when it came to supporting parts to handle the power....not sure about your year but the 05 up had a dinky 7.5inch diff. smaller rotors, spring rate wasnt correct for v8. if its going fast it better handle and be capable of slowing down when you see the 5 0

@oilfield666 i wouldnt know,i have been working on this car since 2001.i work in the construction field,there is alot of hot summers with plenty of blood and sweat in this project

dude, I think you put more money into the body and interior than the motor; she looks decent, but I don't know if you win as many races as you probably think; but I really hope your happy with the results. I do admit, she is definately pretty. I wish you would paint it and post shows going down the track.

im thinking about buying a '94 v6 mustang that id like to do a 5.4 swap on. what had to be changed for the 5.4 to fit in?
