Mexico prepare for 'Day of the Dead' celebrations

Thousands of Mexicans gathered in Mexico City's main square to kick off the celebrations of the country's famed Day of the Dead with a monumental altar.

Some three-thousand cardboard statues of skeletons, skulls, warriors and women adorned the altar, which was meant to reflect pre-hispanic times. Seventy artists worked for three months on creating two giant skeletons. A chain of three-thousand skulls ran the length of the plaza's esplanade to honour the dead.

@maldivo09 aja ok, entonces mencionas que lo que dice tu biblia que es un conjunto de mitos, leyendas y superticiones con ningun fundamento historico ni cienfico, y me hablas que no son superticiones? osea repito aprende a separar por ke si te pones a hablar pierdes y por mucho, aparte lo del dia de muertos es una TRADICION que pertenece a un conjunto de caracteres milenarios y del sincretismo y con fuerte sentimiento nacional, asi que tus ideas bizarras no tienen ni sentido ni logica aqui

Es una tradición hermosa. Lastima que no vengan de verdad. Hasta la Biblia dice los muertos muertos estan, no saben ya nada de lo que sucede en la tierra.
