Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. I'm looking forward to some more filming on the North Wales coast this year. Hopefully there will be some impressive locos out.

Superb.
Please tell me why there so often(not always I have noted) is a diesel attached at the rear on a steam hauled train. That's a very heavy extra load to pull.
(Let me guess. It's in case the steamer breaks down. If so, why should it? The probability is no greater than for a diesel. The steam loco will be in tip top condition.)
More overkill precaution.

@florianska6 I think it's because the trains are electrically heated and the steam locos do not have electrical generation. When 70013 ran up the line a month or so ago, the diesel was used to reverse the train out of Llandudno Station back to Llandudno Junction so the train could carry on to Holyhead. Then the reverse happened on the return journey. I have several video clips of this train which I will be uploading to youtube when I have edited them.
