it is amazing he did this without any music or instruments, his god given voiced is his instrument...this is the true test for any singer, can they truly sing solo and not have some stupid instruments mask their terrible voices..

Assalam-o-Alaikum,
This is one of the most famous KAFI of shah Hussain.
Shah Hussain (1538 - 1599) was a Punjabi Sufi poet and Sufi saint. He was born in Lahore (present-day Pakistan). He is considered a pioneer of the kafi form of Punjabi poetry.
I think no one can translate this kafi in any other language with its true intensity, which u can also feel through singer's voice, rythem and expression he has, however he is not the ture author of this master piece.
