Darth Vader Vintage Collection Review

I finally had a reason to use my Vader helmet! I'm very glad I bought this figure, mostly because you need him to recreate so many scenes!

He's got some flaws, like the cape is see-thru, he can't hold a saber in his right hand, and his chain sticks straight out in front of him....but I didn't have a Vader before this guy and I'm just excited to add a Vader to my collection!

Is there a Vader figure that is newer that doesn't have the removeable helmet, but has ball hinged elbows and not swivel elbows? I have this one, well, the one that came out in the build a droid wave, and the build a droid Vader with the non removeable helmet and swivel elbows. They have the flaws (swivel or helmet that doesnt stay on) and I want the combination of the two.

@lordexitium Hmmm, I'm not sure. Not that I know of. I know that there'll be a Vader available in the "Legacy of the Darkside" two-packs available soon, but I have no idea if that'll be an updated sculpt. It'll probably be a straight repack.

I still need a good modern Vader, seems like this one is the one to get (the Legacy one was the other version I was considering). Thanks for the review.

That's definitely Sebastian Shaw, not Hayden Christensen, thank goodness, and the "under-cape" is movie accurate.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure this is the same vader as the current Saga Legends figure. Like, 75% sure.

I love him, I just don't like his skin color, it looked better in the evolutions pack, but the two parts helment is too aweseom to let pass by. Good review!

Mmm, I am stil wondering if this Vader is good or not. Despite that, I am definitely buying this guy. I prefer the headsculp of the VOTC version (in my opinion)
