  • there are 2 of these on the Army base i live on. they are the most fabulous looking bikes ever. I get mine in 6 months.

  • @BaneOfFreeSpeech there are some things that need to be sorted out with the bike quickly, mostly with fork geometry and fork internals. All the details are posted on the official S1000RR forum under Yannick's posts.

  • @SportbikeWrench was checking the forums, dave.

can you do a link for me, or describe whats the problem on suspension?

    cheers

  • @MrRenejak the forks have unique size pistons, so only cartridge kits can replace them. we change the valve shim sequence, use heavier oil and then put in much heavier springs $500 vs $1300. Great for street and track, but for hard core racing g with cartridge replacements of which there are many options. The forks need to put the the 1st or 2nd line from the top too - for rake and trail gains. The rear shock is not bad unit stock and has decent range. Simply respring for your weight.

  • that bike looks amazing im getting it

  • @acarab01 This is probably the best 1000 street bike out there, and by far the best 1000 electronics package ever produced on a street bike. The suspension can be fixed for $500 rather than buying Ohlins or Bitubo kits.

  • Oh and this will be used on the street, terrain is very mixed..:)

  • Hi Dave, I have a question. I bought this bike a few days ago and found it extremely stiff at the back. I weight 187 Pounds and I literally had to Turn the rear preload adjuster near the very top of the thread to get 30mm of Sag. do you think 30mm of sag is enough? Measured the front and this is on 30mm of sag as well. I have tested these with full travel. I think this bike is made for heavier people. Is there any danger with the rear preload maxed out near the end of thread? Please help me

  • thumbs up if you have one cause i do

  • I WANT ONE

  • that was 10 minutes i lost from playing call of duty black ops .it is not the most exciting bike as is the most ugly can not be compered with japanese and italian masterpieces.
