@mihilranathunga More or less like a movie projector. You can use laser rangefinders to create a 3D model of the India Gate in all its detail. This film footage is then adapted to be projected onto this 3D model (its essentially a non-standard size cinema screen). This modified footage can then be projected onto the monument in real life.

@ajaych4 it is because of people like you that we are still stuck in 20th century...There is no insensitivity shown, rather there is a beautiful message about Clean India..something that our soldiers would have been proud about and preached as well..Regarding your comment about 3d mapping in other countries, I hope that next time, before writing such ridiculous comment, you use google or youtube to do a little research..

Nice Vid. They forgot to show Indian history properly,nothing wrong in showing mosques or taj mahal but we are pretty old then that. Something like 5000 fcking yrs.
