Antonio Madruga (Grand Piano) and Jose Valentino (Flute) are two uprising musicians who are are taking the Jazz, Latin, and Classical World by storm. These young lions were invited to by Paquito D'Rivera to perform his extended work "Fiddle Dreams" which was adapted for C Flute at the 2009 Tanglewood Jazz Festival! Here's a clip from backstage of Antonio and Jose playing this Classical-Panamerican piece which is performed on Flute for the first time. "Fiddle Dreams" was a pieced commissioned by the Library of Congress. Originally it was written for Regina Carter (Jazz Violinist). Both Paquito D'Rivera and Regina Carter have performed this pieces. Please excuse the audio.
