  • I think remember getting a little motion sickness from seeing this intro. But not anymore!

  • I use to love seeing this come on! When I hear that little tune, I think 'Charlie Brown is coming on?' :)

  • To a 5 year old, this bumper incited a Pavlovian response... something awesome and not to be missed was coming on. It could be a superhero, it could be Snoopy, it could be...OMG, IT COULD BE ANYTHING! The only possible reaction was to jump madly on the couch or bed while waving a pillow around then collapse stomach-down in front of the tv, hands under chin and elbows on ground.

  • It still gets me excited.

  • Charlie Brown Bugs Bunny or Garfield is coming on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shut up I dont want to have to tell my friends I missed it! Oh wait thought I was 7 again!

  • aw man that brings back memories, I would love to have this as a ringtone does anybody know were or even if it is possible to do that?

  • @GenXorcist1976 We wanted those fruit pies and Zingers so badly afterwards (and York Peppermint Patties).

  • @Christmasmemories1 Often times it would be a music concert or something live-action-oriented that wouldn't suit our needs at such a small age (and pretty much anything animated in prime-time was a luxury then, even if it was the crappy Looney Tunes specials with the new animation cranked out by those past their prime).

  • @Fangarius It is sad. Back then television still had that sort of special wonderment I don't see anymore.

  • @IAmTheRealBagLady That's what those days felt like (especially if it was at least animated since hardly enough of that was on prime-time in those days).

  • STOP EVERYTHING YOU'RE ABOUT TO DO!!! Charlie Brown is about to come on and we WON'T SEE HIM (or his friends) until NEXT YEAR because such things as videos, DVDs, Internet ... huh??? We have to sit and - GASP! - pay attention for a full 30 MINUTES. Even those of us with legitimate ADD (it wasn't "invented" for the young generation...). Oh, and said programming will be brought to us by Dolly Madison snack products! :) :) :)

  • I remember that when this came on I ALWAYS thought I was going to see Charlie Brown, but then was disappointed when it was something else. LOL

  • I feel like I'm 6 years old again and they have pre-empted The Jefferson's, Alice, and One Day at a Time so I can watch Charlie Brown. Thanks for the awesome flashback.

  • All this ever did was creep me out O.O. Even looking at the image caps for other videos of this leave me with a sense of uneasiness.
