I finally figured out we could move the bolt up against the plate by shimming it up with yugi-oh cards. Once I got that figured out, the boys got the rest figured out. Also have the $150 Radio Shack vex squarebot, we do robot duels. Dang it, Fred Meyer is sold out of these, and price is back up to $140 plus $20 ship on ebay.

best vex demo. We paid $80 in xmas clearance. How did you get the 1st six screws in, it was nearly impossible to get the nut still for the screw to fit in. Good techie girl video. How much did parents help or did you produce edit and capture the entire thing yourself? You'd have to feed the TV into the cam for those shots and then do the live shots. We don't have a cat.

You are right that the tiny screws are nearly impossible to get into place. The robot we used for the video was only partly constructed (I just gave up after trying to bolt the thing together). I've taken an engine out of a Fiat with less struggle. I did the editing using iMovie. If you'd like the cat, give me a call.
