He also lied in my case and when I obtained a report from the State Trooper that was also on the scene when I was arrested that agreed with my statements proving he lied under oath, the judge allowed the trooper to change their story to agree with Deputy Knapp which is also perjury and a felony under Wis. Section 946.31 While I am fighting for my rights I'm also fighting for everyone's rights because nobody should ever be subject to arrest by a criminal under the color of the law...

Sawyer County Sheriff's Department, Report of Deputy Knapp:
Report Date: 08/08/2008 Case Number: 08080802

Last sentence of paragraph 3 through paragraph 6 pertaining to the time of the video footage:

Deputy Knapp then took the initiative to secure the area, removing all non-essential personnel away from the dangers of the accident scene.

Deputy Knapp noted at the time that ambulances were still en route to the scene and that officers needed to keep the accident scene clear for responding personnel. Deputy Knapp also noted that one of the vehicles involved in the accident was smoking and at that time there were unknown dangers involved at the scene.

Deputy Knapp approached the male subject shining a flashlight toward the subject and instructing the subject to move away (1 unlawful order), at the same time pointing down the road. The male subject, who was later identified as Paul Demain, did not move as instructed; however, continued to negotiate his device around Deputy Knapp to further his videotaping or picture taking. Deputy Knapp held his hand up as he approached the male subject in attempts to disrupt the activity and again instructed the subject numerous times (two more illegal falsely reported orders) to leave the scene and to do it now. The subject again continued to ignore Deputy Knapp's instructions and continued to stand in place, negotiating his recording device around Deputy Knapp in attempts to further his recording. Deputy Knapp instructed the subject several more times (4 illegal falsely reported orders ) to leave the scene and to move away. The subject continued to ignore Deputy Knapp's instructions. Deputy Knapp continued to walk closer and approach the subject, placing his hand directly over the front of what appeared to be a digital camera. Again deputy Knapp instructed the subject to move and to get away from the accident scene (6 or more false statements and illegal orders). Mr. Demain again refused to leave the scene as instructed and became immediately billigerent and resistive toward Deputy Knapp. Mr. Demain grabbed Deputy Knapp's left hand, which was covering the camera and stated "I'm a member of the press." Deputy Knapp interrupted Mr. DeMain and refused to move and then began squeezing and twisting Deputy Knapp's left hand very hard, causing Deputy Knapp's fingers to crack and pop. Deputy Knapp immediately felt pain in his left hand and tried to pull away, but could not due to Mr. DeMain's grip. Deputy Knapp told Mr. Demain to let go of Deputy Knapp's hand and to move away from the scene. Mr. Demain did not let go as instructed and refused to move along. Deputy Knapp then squeezed as hard as he could with his left hand and attempted to pull away from Mr. DeMain also intending on pulling Mr. DeMain from where he was standing to a safer location down the road... Deputy Knapp singled out Mr. DeMain who was standing off the road by the sign and out of the way. If there was a danger there were other people closer than Mr. Demain. Taking pictures of an accident scene is not a crime news reporter or not. Releasing or publishing sensitive photos or videos without permission can lead to civil litigation. A policeman being a public servant has no expectation of privacy in a public place while on duty. He grabbed Mr. Demain's hand and told him to "leave the scene" simultaneously, then hit DeMain with his flashlight. Deputy Knapp assaulted and battered Mr. DeMain and even admitted to it when he had no legal authority to even touch him. By Wisconsin Statute 940.19, battery can be a misdemeanor or felony. Again you can see in the video that deputy Knapp did not warn or tell Mr. DeMain to leave the scene in excess of 6 times before Knapp attacked Mr. DeMain and all of his statements about danger and clearing the scene in his report are false because you can see other people standing in the road and by the sign in the picture and the grass on the side of the road you can see that Mr. DeMain was not standing in the road. When a public officer or employee writes false reports, it is a class I felony under Wisconsin Statute 946.12(4).

  • @VWSue That's one thing I don't get about the police. Whenever they give children in schools nutrition chats, they leave out donuts and coffee.

  • Pigs will be pigs.

  • law enforcment has replaced respect with fear and intimidation
