Gun shop raided by Police - CBC anti gun, anti innocent until proven guilty and racist reporting

They have not been proven guilty and are charged with victimless crimes and the CBC uses video tricks and outright slandering to paint these shop owners as gangsters and hardened criminals. They also jump on the oppurtunity to scare the public about guns to continue the outright assault on the right of the Canadian people to defend themselves against the true criminals walking our streets.

The operators of a Port Coquitlam, B.C., gun shop have been charged after police raided the Prairie Avenue premises and seized a large stash of allegedly illegal firearms.

The Coquitlam RCMP and the integrated border enforcement team arrested two people and closed the Sureshot Tactical and Hunting shop after finding an array of high-powered weaponry inside during the Friday-morning raid

The owner Shahriar Tavazoie is facing 10 charges including possession of prohibited weapons without a licence, import or export of firearms knowing it is unauthorized, illegal possession of weapons or devices or ammunition for transfer and violating the Customs Act.

Tavazoie's female partner and co-accused, Maryam Behagn, is facing four similar charges.

Police have yet to confirm the types of weapons seized, but many so-called tactical weapons that can be modified to make them automatic weapons are banned for sale to the public in Canada.

The RCMP said similar tactical weapons have been seized from Lower Mainland gang members, and have been used in at least one fatal shooting.

The involvement of the integrated border enforcement team and the charges laid may indicate police suspected illegal weapons were being smuggled across the border.

im canadian and the language used in this news cast make me ashamed of these broadcasters i know that there was nothing illegal about half of the weapons in that video ar-15s are not "prohibited" they are "restricted" (meaning you need another couple of hours in class and a second test to get one) as well as pistols the only hting in that video that would be illegal would be the full auto g18 they showed a law abiding AMERICAN shooting! The press has quite a few of their facts totally screwed up. None of the weapons is banned in Canada and can be purchased legally with the proper licence.

AR-15s are quite common among target shooters here in Canada. Man CITYTV pisses me off when they can't get the facts right!
