Most people remove the plastic shipping film, thereby removing the boxes and giving snappier response - otherwise good overview
thanks

Why do u still have the screen protector on that comes in the box? Its not really a screen protector, its to keep it looking nice, and to show u where the buttons are.

It's the Internet connection that's slow. For the most part I think this HP Touchpad has better multitasking than Android!

This look like android system right?

@vmlinux everyone knows that its plastic screen wrap Mr. smarty pants! I am also bargain hunter just like you guys and I place a note in beginning of video(see it again if you didn't) I bought this for full price and if seller would refuse to price match for 99, I was suppose to return it that is the reason why plastic is there as I didn't want to go through hassle of cleaning a fingerprint magnet device for return. check out my newer videos you will not see that plastic.

Did you update your tablet to 3.0.2? I recommend doing that to take away some of the lag. I would also add patches and overclock it via urberkernel to 1.5 GHZ!

@icicle1906 update Yes ...overclocking no as I don't want my battery to get messed up!! Apps in this OS are lame...what I am planning to use this for is as dvd player while travelling!! but yes for guys who want to use this as tablet please overclock it because this is wifi tablet and mostly everyone will use at home so battery isi no issue unless used using personal hotspot and battery issues are no trouble! I am uploading video for that in an hour......

@LearningWithCooking I understand but it won't mess up the battery because the Qualcomm chip was clocked safely to 1.5GHZ. In fact, HP was going to come out with the HP TouchPAD 4G in September before they decided to scrap it. The 4G model was going to be 1.5GHZ using the same exact chip. That is why it is SAFE to overclock it to 1.5GHZ. The optimized APPS are limited but there are about 10,000 apps total if you include the phone apps. That is enough for me really.
