He's Never Going to Leave Us Alone

"He is never going to let us alone,"
"Oh...Yeah"

Violet touches Klaus' hand. He knows this is the last time he will safely see her in secret. They kiss and spend the night together, knowing that when they wake up, things will forever be changed.

The next day was cloudy in the village market. Klaus sees Violet looking at Eregon as he passes by. Longing was in her eyes. Eregon stares back and Violet looks away. Klaus asks Violet what's wrong. She only looks down, avoiding his gaze.

Eregon and Violet see each other when Klaus isn't there. She lies about the night she spent with Klaus. "I know your story is true," says Eregon trusting every word. His eyes stares at her with such softness that it made Violet want to hug him, love him again. And so she did, unaware of Klaus' presence. She tells Eregon, "It's just a coincidence."
-Weeks pass-
Eregon followed Violet to know why she has not been visiting him for a while. Looking down the hill, he sees Klaus put his hand on Violet's shoulder. Klaus is staring at Violet. HIS girl. Violet looks away and says, "everything's fine." Klaus then touches her chin and pulls her into a kiss.

"I'm going to free her," said Eregon as he corners Klaus. Klaus replies, "No," and Eregon grabs him to slowly break Klaus' neck. Eregon threatens Klaus, saying, "I'll decide what's best [for her], not you." Eregon lets go of his anger, trying to refrain from his urge to kill him.

Eregon can't take it. He cannot hide his anger, his jealously. As Violet gets ready for bed, Eregon run to her with inhuman speed and passionatly kisses her. He makes love with her.

At the bar, Klaus knows something's up. He recites a discovery in his head by the local mystic, "whether by the sword or the slow decay of time, Eregon will die." He need the distraction. He sees Eregon there too and they start to yell at each other. Violet urges them to stop and Klaus hits her, knocking her to the ground. Eregon uses his protective instinct to push Klaus away and strikes klaus on his face. Klaus backs off and sees the distress in the Eregon's eyes as he looks down at his wounded love.

Violet returns home from the hospital to see Klaus sitting in her room. Eregon is right outside the door. "Klaus!" she breathes. Angry and disoriented, Klaus screams,"you what!"
"But you didn't-" Violet was interupted when Eregon bursts in, "-I already told him."
Klaus grabs a log from the fire and throws it on the ground. It starts to burn her house down.
"He's lying,"shouts Klaus as he leaves. Violet looks on in horror, "It doesn't matter!"
"Please!" beggs Eregon to stop all the chaos.
-The following day-
Violet looks up at her man. She has no where to go. Eregon gently touches her hand, reassuring that he will take care of her always.
