Krumkake (Nowegian crooked cake) made here on an electric griddle/iron. Also can be made on a single stove-top iron. Once cooked for less than 30 seconds, the cookie is taken off of the griddle and rolled around a dowel. Traditionally made during Christmas, this very light, crumbly cookie is always met with delight.
Ingredients: eggs, cream, vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt. Some recipes call for melted butter, and no baking powder.

  • What a great video - it's so great to hear some Norwegian!

  • Is Krumkake crispy? I didn't know it could be shaped into an ice cream cone.
